35 Teaser: Small numbers become huge deal-breaker in this slice-of-life drama starring Nivetha Thomas

We had recently reported that Nivetha Thomas and Priyadarshi will be seen in a film titled 35. The makers of the film unveiled their official teaser on Wednesday at a grand ceremony, attended by the film’s presenter, Rana Daggubati, among others.

35 tells the story of a middle-class married couple (played by Vishwadev and Nivetha) and their two children. While their elder son Arun struggles to make sense of mathematics, his mother remains supportive and empathetic to his struggle with studies. However, things worsen with the arrival of a new and strict mathematics teacher (Priyadarshi), who dares Arun to pass the subject. How Arun deals with his academic failures and how his parents deal with him during this difficult phase forms the crux of the story. 

35 also stars Gautami and K Bhagyaraj as part of the supporting cast. The film also marks the directorial debut for Nanda Kishore Emani, who has previously worked as a writer on Pitta Kathalu (2021) and Stand Up Rahul (2022). Vivek Sagar is the music director for the film. The cinematography is by Nikesh Bommi and editing is by TC Prasanna. 

Suresh Productions is producing this film in association with Waltair Production and S Originals. 35 - Chinna Katha Kaadu is slated to release on August 15, with the makers planning to simultaneously release the film in Tamil and Malayalam as well.
