Mythri Movie Makers, one of the distributors of the Teja Sajja-starrer Hanu-Man, on Monday, announced that the film has grossed Rs 200 crore worldwide. Taking to X, they shared a new poster with the latest numbers from the box office. 

Prashanth Varma's Hanu-Man has turned out to be the surprise Sankranti hit film in the list of movies released ahead of the festival. The film starring Teja Sajja in the lead role, has received positive responses from all over the country from the audience as well as critics.

Ahead of the Ram mandir consecration ceremony, the film's team announced it would donate over Rs 2.6 crore to the temple. Mythri Movie Makers announced in a statement on X, “Thank you to the 53,28,211 people who have joined the great cause of donating to the Ayodhya Ram Mandir amounting to a sum of Rs 2,66,41,055. You can also be a part of this wonderful initiative by watching #HanuMan & immersing yourself in the divine experience.”

Directed by Prasanth Varma, Hanu-Man will be the first film from his cinematic universe. Hanu Man is Telugu cinema's first indigenous superhero, who derives his magical powers from his divine namesake. The film is set up in an imaginary place called Anjanadri and revolves around how the protagonist gets the powers of Hanuman and fights for Anjanadri.
 
Besides Teja Sajja, Hanu-Man also stars  Amritha Aiyer, Vinay Rai, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Getup Srinu, Satya, and Raj Deepak Shetty, among others.

Backed by K Niranjan Reddy of PrimeShow Entertainment, the cinematography is by Dasaradhi Shivendra and the music is scored by Gowrahari, Anudeep Dev and Krishna Saurabh. SB Raju Talari is the editor.
