Disney + Hotstar series Miss Perfect gets a release date

We had previously reported about Miss Perfect, Disney + Hotstar’s latest new Telugu original web series. The streaming platform has announced on Monday that Miss Perfect will be streaming from February 2 onwards. The series stars Lavanya Tripathi, Abhijeeth and Abhignya Vuthaluru. Jhansi, Harsha Vardhan, Mahesh Vitta and Harsh Roshan, among others, feature in supporting roles. 

Lavanya Tripathi will be playing Lavanya Rao, a management consultant in the series. Abhijeeth plays her neighbour and potential love interest. Set in an housing complex during the pandemic, the series looks at how a mistaken identity lends itself to awkward situations and a cat-and-mouse game. 

Miss Perfect is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda under the Annapurna Studios banner. Vishwak Khanderao, who made his directorial debut with the Nithya Menen-Satyadev starrer Skylab (2021), will be helming the series. Malayalam actor Shruti Ramachandran, who played the role of Rashmika’s cousin in Dear Comrade (2019), has written Miss Perfect, along with her husband, advertising professional and screenwriter Francis Thomas. Shruti and Francis have previously written the short film titled Ilamai Idho Idho in the Putham Pudhu Kaalai (2020) anthology. Prashanth R Vihari has composed the music of Miss Perfect, with cinematography by Aditya Javvadi and editing by Raviteja Girijala.
