Fantasy meets fatality: Ooru Peru Bhairavakona Trailer Out 

The official trailer of Sundeep Kishan's upcoming film Ooru Peru Bhairavakona has been unveiled on Thursday afternoon. Ooru Peru Bhairavakona, written and directed by VI Anand, is scheduled to hit theatres on February 9. Varsha Bollamma (Middle Class Melodies, Stand Up Santo) and Kavya Thapar (Ek Mini Katha, Eagle) are the film's female leads. Vennela Kishore and Viva Harsha feature in supporting roles. The film's leading man, Sundeep Kishan, was last seen in Arun Matheswaran's Captain Miller. Captain Miller, which hit theatres worldwide on January 12, will be releasing in Telugu on January 25. 

Making his debut in 2014 with Hrudayam Ekkadunnadi, VI Anand had previously directed Appuchi Gramam (2014),  Tiger (2015), Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada (2016) and Okka Kshanam (2017). His last film was the Ravi Teja starrer Disco Raja, which released in 2023.

The film's trailer offers a sneak peek into two facets of the story, one, a romance, and two, mystical thriller set in a village. Bhairavakona is claimed to have emerged from the four missing pages of Garuda Purana. Sundeep Kishan is seen trying to save a village in trouble.
