First look of Meenakshi Chaudhary from Guntur Kaaram out

We had previously announced that Meenakshi Chaudhary will be featuring in Guntur Kaaram, playing the role of the second female lead. The makers of the film unveiled the first look of the actor from the film, on Thursday. Meenakshi Chaudhary will be playing a character named Raji. Her announcement reads, "Here's introducing Meenakshi Chaudhary as Raji from Guntur Kaaram." The first look poster features Meenakshi striking a pose with the film's main lead Mahesh Babu. Not entirely unlike the film's first lead Sree Leela, Meenakshi is seen draped in a half saree in earthy tones.

It may be noted that Pooja Hegde was initially signed on the film's primary lead, with Sreeleela playing the film's second female lead. After Pooja Hegde exited the project midway through production, the film's makers reassigned Sreeleela as the film's primary female lead, with Meenakshi Chaudhary being roped in to play the second lead. 

Guntur Kaaram is written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas. It is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the Sithara Entertainments banner. Thaman is the music composer of the film, with cinematography by PS Vinod, editing by Navin Nooli and production design by AS Prakash. The film is scheduled to release on January 12. 

Meanwhile, Meenakshi is also set to feature in Matka, where she stars opposite Varun Tej. The actor, who made her Tamil debut last year with the Vijay Antony starrer Kolai, will be appearing in Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming film Greatest Of All Time (GOAT), which is directed by Venkat Prabhu.
