Anjali-starrer Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi's release postponed

Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi, the upcoming horror comedy starring Anjali, was originally slated to release on March 15. However, the makers have shared a new update for the film’s release. It will now hit theatres on April 11.

Taking to their social media pages, the film’s production house Kona Film Corporation posted, “To ensure every film gets its moment in the spotlight we're announcing the new release date for #GeetanjaliMalliVachindhi as April 11th.”

Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi revolves around the antics of a film crew that has landed up at an abandoned mansion for the shoot of a horror film. However, as the crew gets deeper into their schedule, they end up making contact with the paranormal forces present at the mansion.

Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi is the official sequel to the 2014 hit horror-comedy Geethanjali, which too starred Anjali in the lead role. Produced by MVV Satyanarayana and GV, the film marks the directorial debut for choreographer Shiva Turlapati. The film’s ensemble cast includes comic stalwarts like Srinivas Reddy, Sunil, Satyam Rajesh, Satya, Shakalaka Shankar, Ali, Brahmaji, and Ravi Shankar.
