Chiranjeevi: It is our responsibility to make Operation Valentine a success

The pre-release event on Operation Valentine took place on Sunday and Chiranjeevi was invited as the guest of honour for the same. In his speech, the actor spoke about how it is the responsibility of the audience to make the film a hit, given its focus on the Indian Air Force and their acts of bravery. 

The actor, who was recently awarded the Padma Vibhushan, was quoted saying, "I feel proud to attend this film's event, given this is a patriotic film about India's strong counter to the Pulwama Attacks incident. As the incident took place on February 14, I felt it was very apt when Varun said that the name of the film was Operation Valentine."

Appreciating debutant filmmaker Shakti Pratap Hada's efficiency, Chiranjeevi continues, "Shakti, who made the movie on a moderate budget with such grand visuals is an inspiration for upcoming filmmakers. I was informed that the movie has come out well. Films like Operation Valentine need to be encouraged." 

Operation Valentine stars Varun Tej, Manushi Chillar, Ruhani Sharma, Navdeep, Abhinav Gomatam and Shataf Figar. Shakti Pratap Singh Hada has written this film with Aamir Nahid Khan and Siddharth Rajkumar. The dialogues of the film have been penned by Sai Madhav Burra. Hari K Vedantam is the cinematographer of the film, with editing by Navin Nooli and music composed by Mickey J Meyer.
