The teaser of Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi was unveiled by the makers on Saturday. The upcoming horror-comedy, starring Anjali in the lead role, is an official sequel to the 2014 hit Geethanjali.
Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi's teaser revolves around a film crew that has arrived at an abandoned mansion for the shoot of their horror film. However, as the crew gets deeper into their shoot schedule, their team members come to learn of the actual spooky background of the mansion, as the ghosts still wander around the premises.
Much like its predecessor, Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi too promises a blend of horror and comedy. While Anjali stars in the lead role, the film’s ensemble cast comprises many comic stalwarts like Sunil, Srinivas Reddy, Ali, Satyam Rajesh, Shakalaka Shankar, Ravi Shankar, and Srikanth Iyyengar. The film also marks the Telugu debut of Malayalam actor Rahul Madhav.
Kona Venkat, who is the presenter for Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi, has also written the story for the film and co-written the screenplay with Bhanu Bhogavarapu. The horror comedy, which marks the directorial debut of choreographer Shiva Turlapati, is produced by MVV Satyanarayana & GV under the banners of MVV Cinema and Kona Film Corporation.
