The makers of the upcoming thriller-drama Gaami released their new single 'Gamyaane - The Quest Song' on Friday evening. Gaami, which stars Vishwak Sen in the lead role, is a thriller drama that revolves around a unique journey undertaken by its protagonist Shiva.
Composed and programmed by Sweekar Agasthi, Gamyaanne is a rousing composition that’s equally reflective and evocative in nature. The song is layered with a rock-based arrangement style. Sanapati Bharadwaj Patrudu has penned the lyrics for this song, which talks about the importance of courage and character in the face of adversity. Meanwhile, Anurag Kulkarni, Sugunamma, and Sweekar have provided vocals for the song.
Last week, the makers of Gaami released a character intro teaser for their film, giving a brief glimpse of its protagonist Shiva and other primary characters. Gaami tells the story of Shiva, a reluctant Aghora who sets off on a quest to find a cure for his physical condition—the inability to experience human touch.
Gaami is produced by Karthik Sabareesh in association with Swetha Vahini Studios, Vishwak Sen Cinemas, Tamada Media, and Clown Pictures. The ensemble cast of the film includes actors like Chandini Chowdhary, MG Abhinay, and Mohammad Samad, among others.
Directed by Vidyadhar Kagita, Gaami is slated to hit theatres on March 8.
