You can definitely expect part three: Allu Arjun announces plans to expand Pushpa universe at Berlinale 

We had recently reported that Allu Arjun has gone to represent India at the Berlin Film Festival 2024. Pushpa: The Rise will be screened at the prestigious film festival. It will be a fan screening, not an official one. In addition to this, a ‘sizzle reel’ of the franchise will be screened at the festival’s European film market, in order to cement Pushpa's brand amongst International audiences. 

In a report carried by Variety, Allu Arjun has declared that the makers of the film do plan to extend the franchise beyond Pushpa: The Rule. The actor said, “You can definitely expect part three, we do want to make it a franchise and we have exciting ideas for the lineup”. Pushpa: The Rule is currently in production, and is scheduled to release on August 15, 2024. 

Speaking in detail about what to expect in Pushpa: The Rule, the actor continues, “Pushpa 2’ is going to have a very different shade of Pushpa than what you’ve seen in Pushpa 1, because it is the lower end of the spectrum that you’ve seen. You’ll see the highest end of the spectrum in terms of characterization. So (in Pushpa 2) you’ll see him on a very high note, you’ll see him on a very high scale, in terms of characterization, in terms of this scale and presentation and the canvas of the problems are going to be much bigger than what it was compared to Pushpa 1. It’s going to be a bigger canvas, and there is a different dimension to the characterization.”

Pushpa: The Rule also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. The film is written and directed by Sukumar, with music by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and editing by Karthika Srinivas and Ruben. The franchise is produced by Y Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni under the Mythri Movie Makers banner.
