The makers of Naresh 61, Allari Naresh's upcoming comedy film with Faria Abdullah, have unveiled the title and the release date of the movie on Friday. Titled Aa Okkati Adakku, the Allari Naresh starrer is a namesake of his late father, veteran filmmaker EVV Satyanarayana's 1992 comedy. The film is written and directed by debutant Malli Ankam and produced by Rajiv Chilaka under the banner Chilaka Productions. Rajiv Chilaka is best known as the producer of the popular children's comedy series Chota Bheem, which he has produced under the banner Green Gold Animation Pvt Ltd. Naresh 61 is scheduled to release on March 22, 2024.

The title announcement comes with a cheeky introduction video, which offers a glimpse into the film's premise. Allari Naresh plays a character named Gana. When Gana is enquired about his impending marriage by his family members and neighbours, he replies with the words "Aa Okkati Adakku" (don't ask me that one thing). He later goes on to call marriage a 'pan-India problem', after breaking the fourth wall by announcing that the film will only release in Telugu.

Jathi Ratnalu-fame Faria Abdullah is the film's female lead. She was last seen in the Sony LIV original series The Jengaburu Curse. Comedian Jamie Lever will be making her Telugu debut with Aa Okkati Adakku. The film also stars Vennela Kishore, Viva Harsha, and Ariyana Glory, among others. The film is written by seasoned screenwriter Abburi Ravi, with music composition by Gopi Sundar, cinematography by Suryaa, editing by Chota K Prasad, and production design by JK Murthy.
