The teaser of upcoming Pruthvi Ambaar starrer romantic drama Dear Uma was released on Wednesday. Sumaya Reddy, who is playing the female protagonist, has also penned the storyline for the film. Additionally, Sumaya is producing the movie under her banner Suma Chitra Arts.
Prudhvi plays an aspiring musician in the film, whose life takes a dramatic turn when he meets a young, kind-hearted woman (played by Sumaya). The teaser comprises snippets of various phases of the relationship between the two protagonists, underlined by the male protagonist’s voiceover who notes the many ways in which men and women vary as human beings and lovers.
Dear Uma is directed by Sai Rajesh Mahadav who has also penned the screenplay and dialogues for the film. The film’s ensemble cast includes actors like Kamal Kamaraju, Sapthagiri, Ajay Ghosh, Amani, Rajeev Kanakala, Prudhvi Raj, and Rupa Lakshmi. Satya Giduturi is the editor for the film, while Raj Thota is the cinematographer. Radhan has composed music for the film.
