Pawan Kalyan's OG gets release date 

The makers of Pawan Kalyan's OG confirmed on Tuesday that their film will be hitting theatres on September 27. OG stars Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. Priyanka Mohan essays the film's female lead, while Emraan Hashmi will play the film's principal antagonist.

OG marks Emraan's Telugu debut. The film is a gangster drama set in Mumbai and presumably Japan. Pawan Kalyan, who was seen last year in the Samuthirakani film Bro alongside Sai Dharam Tej, is scheduled to star next in Harish Shankar's Ustaad Bhagat Singh and Krish's period drama Hari Hara Veera Mallu. 

OG is written and directed by Sujeeth. He had previously helmed Saaho, which starred Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor. DVV Danayya is producing the film under his banner DVV Entertainments. Thaman is composing the film's music, with cinematography by Ravi K Chandran, editing by Navin Nooli and production design by AS Prakash.
