The makers of Vishwambhara, Chiranjeevi's upcoming mythological magnum opus have announced that the superstar started shooting for the same. The film went on floors last November, where scenes not involving the actor were being filmed in Maredumilli, Andhra Pradesh, among other locations. The makers of the film have also revealed in a press statement that the production design team erected 13 different sets where a major part of the movie will be canned. While it was previously announced that Vishwambhara is going to be a Sankranti release, the makers of the film have also announced on Friday that January 10, 2025, has been locked as their release date, as of now.

Vishwambhara is written and directed by actor-turned-filmmaker Vassishta. He had previously helmed the Kalyanram-starrer Bimbisara. Srinivas Gavireddy, Ganta Sridhar, Nimmagadda Srikanth and Mayukh Adithya are serving as the film's script associates. The film is produced by Vamsi and Pramod under the UV Creations banner. Vishwambhara is the first collaboration between Chiranjeevi and the film's director and producer. Chota K Naidu is the cinematographer of the film, with editing jointly by Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao and Santhosh Kamireddy. While AS Prakash is the film's production designer, Sushmita Konidela is designing the costumes. The film's music is composed by MM Keeravani, with lyrics provided by Chandrabose and Siva Sakthi Dutta.

In addition to Vishwambhara, Chiranjeevi will also be announcing his next film i.e. Chiru 157 soon. Speculations suggest that Chiru 157 might be jointly produced by Sushmita Konidela and People Media Factory.
