The makers of Kannappa, starring Manchu Vishnu, unveiled the character poster of Preity Mukhundan from the film. The team released the poster featuring Preity in captivating attire set against the tribal backdrop. The team wrote, “Grace in her beauty, strength in her courage, unmatched in her love, and bliss in her devotion. She was everything to Kannappa. Princess Nemali from the Chenchu clan.”
The period epic marks the Telugu debut for Preity Mukhundhan. The actor shot to fame from this year’s Tamil hit, Star.
Kannappa, produced by 24 Frames Factory, is based on the story of a Shiva devotee of the same name. The period epic action film also stars Mohan Lal, Prabhas, Mohan Babu, Akshay Kumar, Sarath Kumar, Kajal Agarwal and more. Prabhas is set to be playing a surprise cameo in the film, which is set to delight moviegoers.
Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannappa has cinematography by Seldon Chau, editing by Anthony Gonsalvez, and music by Stephen Devassy. The stunts and epic war sequences are choreographed by Kecha Khamphakdee. The film is coming to screens on April 25, 2025.
