The makers of Venkatesh Daggubati starrer Sankranthiki Vasthunam unveiled the third single titled ‘Blockbuster Pongal’ from the film. The song is a blasting dance number clearly composed to amp-up Pongal celebrations.
The song has Venkatesh donning the lungi and shaking leg with Meenakshi Chaudhary and Aishwarya Rajesh. The energetic high-volume track is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo. Venkatesh doubles up as singer for the song giving an extra edge. The song also has vocals by Bheems Ceciroleo and Rohini Soratt. The track has lyrics penned by Ramajogayya Shastru. The film’s album composed by Bheems Ceciroleo has been well received by audiences.
Directed by Anil Ravipudi, Sankrathiki Vasthunam is billed as a triangular crime comedy. Produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. The film’s extended caste has Upendra Limaye, Rajendra Prasad, Sai Kumar, Naresh, VT Ganesh, Prithviraj, Srinivas Avasarala, Muralidhar Goud among others. Sameer Reddy cranked the cinematography, while AS Prakash took over production design.
The team credits S Krishna and G Adhinarayana as co-writers, Tammiraju as editor, and V Venkat as action director. Sankrathiki Vasthunam is gearing up for release on January 14, 2025.
