Laila starring Vishwak Sen promises to be an entertainer with a fresh concept. The makers unveiled the film’s first single ‘Sonu Model’ on Sunday. The song is an out-and-out banger with high-tempo beats. The track features Vishwak doubling as a lyricist with vocals by Narayanan Ravishankar and Reshma Shyam. Vishwak plays a street-savvy hustler named “Sonu Model” and his peculiar styling is gaining attention. The makers also announced that the film has Vishwak playing a feminine role but specifics are yet to be out.
Laila, also stars Akanksha Sharma as the female lead. The film has music composed by Leon James. The entertainer is directed by Ram Narayan with screenply by Vasudeva Murthy. The film is bankrolled by Sahu Garapati under the Shine Screens banner.
Laila is slated to have its theatrical release on February 14, 2025. Vishwak Sen was last seen in this year’s Mechanic Rocky.
