
Dream Catcher, billed as a sci-fi thriller, is set to hit theaters on January 3, 2025. Directed by Sandeep Kakula and produced under the banner of Ciel Motion Pictures, the film stars Prashanth Krishna, Aneesha Dama, Srinivas Ramireddy, and Aishwarrya Holakkal in pivotal roles.
At the pre-release press meet in Hyderabad, the team expressed their excitement about the project. Director Sandeep Kakula revealed that the film draws inspiration from Hollywood hits like Inception but retains a uniquely Telugu essence. “The entire movie was shot in Hyderabad, showcasing what can be achieved with passion and resourcefulness,” he said.
The psychological thriller, with no songs or fight sequences, focuses entirely on its gripping narrative. Actor Srinivas Ramireddy, who plays Karthik, noted, “The story delves into how the protagonist grapples with a shocking incident. Every frame has been crafted with precision.” Prashanth Krishna shared his journey, stating, “Sandeep’s vision brought us all together. This film will offer a fresh experience for audiences.”
Dream Catcher technical team has cinematography by Praneeth Gautham Nanda, editing by Preetham Gayathri and music by Siddharth Kakula. With a runtime of 90 minutes, the makers promise that Dream Catcher will be a groundbreaking addition to Telugu cinema.
