On Sunday, several unidentified assailants claiming to be a part of OUJAC attacked the residence of actor Allu Arjun. They claimed that Allu Arjun was not taking responsibility for the stampede incident and the victim’s family. They demanded that the actor immediately step out and take care of Sri Tej, the son of the deceased victim, Revathi at the Pushpa 2 stampede incident on December 4. The mysterious assailants damaged and destroyed parts of the property. The assailants demanded justice for the victim.

Allu Arjun, on Saturday, held a press meet and addressed the allegations against him. He said that he, director Sukumar, and producer Naveen of Mythri Movies, decided to open a trust fund for Sri Tej. He further announced that he was going to take care of the victim’s family. He clarified that, given the legalities of the case, he is refrained from meeting the victim’s family. He said that he would meet them soon.

The stampede tragedy escalated and became a political issue after Allu Arjun was arrested for a day and released on bail. Many film industry figures graced the actor’s residence. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy reacted strongly to the move from the film industry and warned them that there would be no more benefit shows and ticket hikes. He alleged that many Allu Arjun’s fans were abusing him and also remarked “Not a single person from the industry went to check the boy, Sri Tej, who is admitted in hospital.”

On Sunday, actor Jagapathi Babu, who was a part of Pushpa 2, issued a video statement that he visited the victim’s family immediately after returning from shoot. He said, “Because this came out as a topic, I am clarifying. I have met the victim and the family. I have checked upon the boy, Sri Tej.” The statement prompted a reply from Allu Arjun saying, “Thank you sir.”
