Amidst the proceedings in the Allu Arjun’s arrest case, many celebrities extended their support to the Pushpa 2 star.

Adivi Sesh took social media and wrote, “What happened in that theater was horrible and unfortunate. A Mother lost her life. But what’s happening today feels extremely harsh against Allu Arjun gaaru. One horrible tragedy followed by this. Just heartbreaking.”

Director Anil Ravipudi also called the step ‘Unreasonable’ and wrote, “The heartbreaking incident at Sandhya Theatre underscores the need for better safety protocols, but holding Allu Arjun gaaru accountable for something beyond his control is absolutely unreasonable. His responsible actions in supporting the affected family should be commended, not overshadowed by misplaced blame. Let justice be fair, and let’s ensure such incidents don’t happen again.”

Actor Sundeep Kishan also extended support and said, “How can one man be held responsible for an extremely unfortunate crowd event gone wrong, Especially in a country that thrives on its population & celebratory gatherings, We need to learn from this & make sure it doesn repeat again rather than point blame.”

Actor Nithiin also wrote, “It’s heartbreaking to witness such tragedies. I believe we must reflect on how to prevent them in the future. This isn’t about finding fault but about learning, growing, and taking collective responsibility to ensure a safer and better tomorrow.”

Even Gopichand Malineni, Ajay Bhupathi, among others expressed support to Allu Arjun over the issue.

Allu Arjun was arrested due to the stampede incident that occured during Pushpa 2’s premiere at Sandhya theatre, Hyderabad on December 4. A case was registered against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management based on a complaint from the deceased’s family. At Sandhya theatre, the chaos claimed the life of 35-year-old Revathi and left her 9 year old son, Tej, critically injured. Authorities say that the unannounced arrival of star Allu Arjun with the team and the negligence in implementing adequate security measures by the theatre led to the tragedy.

Allu Arjun has been taken into custody by the Chikkadpally Police on Friday morning regarding the stampede incident on December 4. The actor has been presented in Nampally court and he has been sent to a 14-day remand. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun’s quash petition was heard in the Telangana High Court and the court granted interim bail to the actor.
