Manoj Bajpayee, who is gearing up for his next release Despatch, spoke about his working experience with veteran filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma during a recent interview. The actor also confirmed that he will soon be reuniting with the Satya director for an upcoming project.
According to a report by Indian Express, Manoj Bajpayee said, “The good news is that he is going to make his next with me. We are trying to find some time and figure out dates. He is not off the radar. He was just taking a long break. He was chilling out. We all envied him, in the manner he chilled out.”
Manoj Bajpayee and Ram Gopal Varma had first worked together in Daud (1997), before famously collaborating in Satya (1998), which became a turning point for Manoj Bajpayee. Manoj later worked with the Satya director in Kaun (1999), besides working in his other films under his production banners like Shool (1999) and Road (2002).
Ram Gopal Varma’s last Hindi project was the 2022 film Ladki: Dragon Girl. Meanwhile, Manoj Bajpayee’s Despatch, directed by Kanu Behl, releases on Zee5 on December 13.
