
The Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule has released today at theatres nationwide registering massive opening figures. While the final figures for the film’s day 1 collection are yet to be confirmed, the Sukumar directorial seems well on its way to garnering over 100 crores gross at the domestic box office.
As per the box office tracker Sacnilk.com, Pushpa 2: The Rule has already collected 71.4 crores nett at the box office till 4 pm (including the advance figures for the next two hours). This greatly boosts the film’s chances of crossing the 100 crore mark at the domestic box office alone, on its opening day.
Outside the AP-Nizam territory, the film’s Telugu version has registered highest occupancy in Chennai (61%), followed by Mumbai (55%). When it comes to the Hindi version, Pune and Jaipur have witnessed the highest occupancy rates so far, with 61 % and 60% respectively.
Pushpa: The Rise, to which the latest Allu Arjun-starrer is a sequel, had emerged as one of the biggest hits of the year after taking a slow start at the box office. During its 10-week run at the country-wide box office, Pushpa: The Rise had garnered a nett collection of 267 crores, as per Sacnilk.com.
