Gunasekhar, who is popular for his films like Okkadu, Choodalani Vundi, and Rudhramadevi, is coming up with a youth-centric thriller drama titled Euphoria. The film, while mostly comprising newcomers and upcoming actors in the lead cast, stars Bhumika Chawla in a prominent role. On Tuesday, the actor joined the schedule of the film’s shoot.
The makers announced the said shooting update by sharing a few BTS stills of Bhumika and Gunasekhar. Additionally, the makers unveiled a short video that features Bhumika as she arrives at the sets, finishes her makeup, and joins the shoot.
Bhumika and Gunasekhar had famously collaborated on the 2003 film Okkadu, which remains one of the most memorable Mahesh Babu performances, besides being one of Bhumika’s biggest hits.
Sara Arjun, popular for her role in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan, plays a pivotal role in Euphoria. Other actors part of the cast are Nasser, Rohith, Vignesh Gavireddy, Likhita Yalamanchali, Addala Prudhviraj, Sai Srinika Reddy, Ashrita Vemuganti, Mathew Varghese, Aadarsh Balakrishna, Ravi Prakash, Naveena Reddy, and Likith Naidu. Kaala Bhairava is the music director for the upcoming thriller-drama. Prawin Pudi is the editor and Praveen K Pothan is the cinematographer. The costume design is by Poojitha Tadikona and the art direction is by Srinivas Kalinga.
The first glimpse of Euphoria was released in October. Neelima Guna is producing the film under the banner of Guna Handmade Productions. The makers are yet to announce a release date for their film.
