The makers of Dear Uma released their new single titled ‘Yevaipuko’ on Tuesday. The upcoming romantic drama stars Pruthvi Ambaar and Sumaya Reddy, with the latter also being the producer of the film.
Composed by Radhan, ‘Yevaipuko’ is a sombre and melancholic composition, which captures the two contrasting lives of its protagonists. Karthik and Harini Ivaturi are the playback singers for the number, while the lyrics are penned by Purnachary.
The film’s official teaser was launched in February, on occasion of Valentine’s Day. Prudhvi plays an aspiring musician in Dear Uma, whose life takes a dramatic turn when he meets a young, kind-hearted woman (played by Sumaya) and ends up entering a tumultuous relationship with her.
Dear Uma, being directed by Sai Rajesh Mahadav, is produced under the banner of Suma Chitra Arts. Sai Rajesh has also penned the screenplay and dialogues for the film. The film’s ensemble cast includes actors like Kamal Kamaraju, Sapthagiri, Ajay Ghosh, Amani, Rajeev Kanakala, Prudhvi Raj, and Rupa Lakshmi. Satya Giduturi is the editor for the film, while Raj Thota is the cinematographer.
The makers of Dear Uma are yet to announce a release date for their film.
