Kannappa, the upcoming mythological epic, stars Manchu Vishnu in the titular role of the Shiva devotee. The film features a mammoth star cast including Sarath Kumar, Prabhas, Mohan Babu, Akshay Kumar, Mohan Lal, Kajal Agarwal, and more. The makers, who have been promoting the film by releasing character first-look posters, on the occasion of Janmashtami, introduced Avram Manchu, son of Manchu Vishnu, as a young Thinnadu.
Actor Mohan Babu launched the first look of Avram and wrote, “Here is my Avram. Happy Janmashtami.” The poster shows Goddess Kaali in the background and showcases that the film is going to cover the whole life of the titular Shiva devotee. With each character reveal poster, Kannappa makers are ensuring to reveal the vast world they are building and the players occupying it.
Kannappa, directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, includes music by Stephen Devassy, editing by Anthony Gonsalvez, and cinematography by Seldon Chau. Kecha Khamphakdee is in charge of choreographing the spectacular war scenes and stunts. While an official release date is yet to be announced, the team plans on releasing the film in Telugu, Hindi, English, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada in December.
