Tejus Kancherla, who was last seen in the 2019 film RDX Love, is gearing up for his comeback to the movies after 5 years, with the upcoming movie Uruka Patela. The makers of the film released their second single, ‘Ori Mayaloda', on Wednesday.
Pravin Lakkaraju is the music director for Uruka Patela. Sung by Spoorthi Jithender, ‘Ori Mayaloda’ is a rousing romantic number with a minimalistic style of composition devoid of any heavy beats. Yet, the use of acoustic guitar and a heavy bassline, blending with Spoorthi’s earthy vocals, creates a swoony impact. Srinivasa Mouli has penned the lyrics. Jithu Master is the choreographer for the song video.
The first single of the film, ‘Patnam Pilla,’ was released on August 12. Uruku Patela, directed by Vivek Reddy, stars Khushboo Choudhary as the female lead. Vivek is also co-producing the film with Kancharla Bala Bhanu under the banner of Lead Edge Pictures. Sasank Vupputuri is the editor of the film, while cinematography is helmed by Sunny Kurrapati.
The makers of Uruku Patela recently preponed their film’s release from September 13 to September 7, after the makers of Lucky Baskhar shifted their release to Diwali week, on October 31.
