Nivetha Thomas, who was last seen in the Malayalam film Enthada Saji, is gearing up for her next release, titled 35. The slice-of-life drama, initially slated for an August 15 release, was officially postponed to September 5 release a few days ago.
On Tuesday, the makers released the promo for their second single, also sharing the full single release date. Composed by Vivek Sagar, ‘Chinna Idi Vintha Lokam’ will be released tomorrow, on August 20. The makers had released the first single, ‘Sayyare Sayya', on July 31.
The official teaser of the film was released in July as well. 35 promisingly revolves around the lives of a middle-class couple (played by Vishwadev Rachakonda and Nivetha Thomas) and their elder son, Arun, who is struggling to secure the passing score of 35 in mathematics. Priyadarshi, meanwhile, plays the strict math teacher. Vivek Sagar recently composed music for another Priyadarshi-starrer, Darling.
35 marks the directorial debut of Nanda Kishore Emani, who had previously worked as a writer on Pitta Kathalu (2021) and Stand Up Rahul (2022). The film also stars Gautami and K Bhagyaraj as part of the supporting cast. The cinematography is by Nikesh Bommi and editing is by TC Prasanna.
Rana Daggubati is presenting the film, with Suresh Productions is producing this film in association with Waltair Production and S Originals. The makers of 35 are planning to simultaneously release the film in Tamil and Malayalam as well.
