We had earlier reported that Sunny Deol is collaborating with Telugu filmmaker Gopichand Malineni for one of his upcoming films. Now, the makers have roped in Randeep Hooda for the project.
The project, tentatively titled SDGM, is being jointly produced under the banners of Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory. Mythri Movie Makers shared the said update on their X page. Randeep Hooda was last seen in the period biopic Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, which also marked his feature film directorial debut.
The Sunny Deol starrer also stars Regina Cassandra and Saiyami Kher as part of its ensemble cast. Rishi Punjabi will helm the cinematography, while the music is composed by Thaman S. The editor and production design are by Navin Nooli and Avinash Kolla respectively.
Gopichand Malineni’s previous venture was the Balakrishna starrer Veera Simha Reddy. His upcoming films also include a project with Ravi Teja. Meanwhile, Sunny Deol recently wrapped up shooting for another of his films Lahore 1947, which marks his reunion with veteran filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi after 29 years.
