The makers of Dulquer Salmaan-starrer heist-thriller Lucky Baskhar have decided to shift their film’s release date. Earlier scheduled to hit theatres on September 7, on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Lucky Baskhar will now release in Diwali week, on October 31.
Sithara Entertainments, the producers of the film, shared a note on their social media page on Tuesday, in which they stated that they are aiming to have an authentically native dubbing quality for its all language version releases, considering Lucky Baskhar is being mounted as a massive pan-India film, and have hence decided to postpone the release in order to achieve that desired authenticity.
It is to be noted that the release date for the film was earlier preponed from September 27 to September 7, after NTR Jr starrer Devara makers had shifted their release date. Besides Dulquer Salmaan, Lucky Baskhar stars Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead. Venky Atluri has written and directed the upcoming heist thriller that’s set in the late 1980s, promising to chronicle the extraordinary journey of an ordinary bank cashier.
