The first single of Kiran Abbavaram starrer KA, titled ‘World of Vasudev,’ was launched on Monday. Sam CS, who has composed music for films like Vikram Vedha and RDX, is the music director for the film.
Sung by Kapil Kapilan, ‘World of Vasudev’ is an evocative composition, very breezy and heavy on acoustics, perfectly in sync with the film’s countryside backdrop. Sanapati Bharadwaj Patrudu has penned the lyrics. The song video features Kiran Abbavaram appreciating the simple beauty of his village and villagefolk as he goes around carrying out his duties as a postman.
Yesterday, the makers of KA officially welcomed Nayan Sarika as part of the film’s cast, already unveiling her character poster. Nayan Sarika, who was recently seen in the slice-of-life drama Aay, plays a village girl named Satyabhama in the film. The film also stars Tanvi Raam in a significant role.
Directed by debutant duo Sujeeth-Sandeep, KA promises to be a period thriller. The film is presented by Mrs Chinta Varalakshni and produced by Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy under the banner of Srichakraas Entertainments. The technical crew of KA includes cinematographers Viswas Daniel and Sateesh Reddy Masam, production designer Sudheer, and editor Sreevara Prasad.
The makers of KA are reportedly planning for a pan-India release for their film.
