Prabhas-Hanu Raghavapudi’s Fauji gets officially launched

Prabhas has teamed up with director Hanu Raghavapudi, of Sita Ramam fame. The film is produced by the noted production banner, Mythri Movie Makers, who are currently busy wrapping up Pushpa 2: The Rule. On August 17, the makers officially launched the film with a pooja ceremony that Prabhas, Prashanth Neel, and Hanu Raghapudi, among others, attended.

The film, which is set to be a period-based action-love story, is reported to be titled Fauji. As per reports, Prabhas is essaying the role of a soldier in the British Army, with the film set to be in the pre-independence era. Rumours indicate that Prabhas could be a member of Subhash Chandra Bose’s Azad Hind Fauj. 

Vishal Chandrasekhar is composing the music and background score for the movie. The makers have yet to announce more details about the film. Meanwhile, Prabhas is busy with director Maruthi’s The Raja Saab, which is said to be a pan-Indian horror comedy film also starring Malavika Mohanan and Niddhii Agerwal.
