Jagapathi Babu and Anasuya starrer Simbaa makers release ‘Prema Geema’ video song

‘Prema Geema’, the song released two years ago from the upcoming film Simbaa, gets a new video song by the makers of the film. Simbaa is directed by Murali Manohar, with a story written by Sampath Nandi. The love song features Divi Vadthya and Animal-fame Srinath Maganti driving around Hyderabad streets with strong Telangana lyrics by Mittapalli Surender. The film’s music is composed by Krishna Saurabh with vocals by Nithyashree Venkataramanan. 

Simbaa’s theme is deforestation, and how toiling with nature has negative consequences. The film’s pre-release event was held on Saturday, with former Rajya Sabha members Santhosh Kumar, MLA Vijaya Ramana Rao, and Raj Thakur serving as the chief guests. 

Sampath Nandi, the presenter and writer of the film, shared, “The inspiration for this movie came from Udaya Bhanu, who challenged me as part of the Green India Challenge. Following this, Santosh and KCR became aware of Haritaharam. At that time, I heard this story, which is eye-opening, entertaining, and carries a meaningful message. Although I usually suggest mass commercial stories to our producer, Rajender Reddy, he chose the story of 'Simbaa' with the intention of contributing positively to society. This film should be a big hit for such a noble person. I am grateful to Poorna and Raghava for their help in the production, and to Kishore for his scientific assistance and Vijay for the script idea. The film releases on August 9, and I believe it will not disappoint; it will certainly impress viewers.”

Simbaa features Jagapathi Babu, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Gowtami, Vasista Simha, Anish Kuruvilla, and Kabhir Singh. Produced by Sampath Nandi and Dasari Rajendara Reddy under the banners of Sampath Nandi Team Works and Raj Dasari Productions, the film is slated to release on August 9, clashing with Niharika Konidela’s production Committee Kurrollu.
