The makers of Committee Kurrollu unveiled a release trailer, four days ahead of their film’s release, at a grand ceremony. The event was attended by Varun Tej and Adivi Sesh, besides the film's primary cast and crew.
The film, written and directed by debutant Yadhu Vamsi, marks the maiden film production venture for Niharika Konidela. Unlike the previous teasers and trailers, the new trailer for Committee Kurrollu focuses more on the friendship between the film’s protagonists, and their days of carefree adolescence, mixed with their romantic escapades. Overall, the new trailer has a more positive and energetic mood, setting expectations for a pacey coming-of-age drama with socio-political commentary.
The primary cast of Committee Kurrollu comprises several newcomers, namely Sandeep Saroj, Yashwanth, and Eshwar Trinath Varma, in prominent roles. Additionally, the film’s ensemble cast includes names like Sai Kumar, Goparaju Ramana, Balagam Jayaram, Sri Lakhsmi, Kancherapalem Kishore, Kittayya, Ramana Bhargav, and Jabardasth Sathipandu. Writer duo Venkata Subhash Cheerla and Kondal Rao Addagalla have penned the dialogue. Anwar Ali is the editor. Anudeep Dev is the music director.
Committee Kurrullo is set to hit theatres on August 9 and will clash against Anusuya Bhardwaj starrer Simbaa at the box office. The film is being jointly bankrolled under the banners of Pink Elephant Pictures and Shree Radha Damodar Studios, with Padmaja Konidela and Jayalakshmi Adapaka serving as producers.
