Satyadev-starrer Krishnamma now set to release on May 10

The makers of Satyadev-starrer Krishnamma have decided to push their film’s release by a week. Earlier slated to release on May 3, the crime-drama will now hit theatres on May 10.

Taking to their official X page, the film’s production banner, Arunchala Creations, posted, “Revenge is Delayed but Never Denied. The tale of fury unleashes on the big screens on May 10th.” Additionally, the makers also cancelled the press event scheduled for today, where the film’s trailer was scheduled to be released.

Written and Directed by V V Gopala Krishna, Krishnamma is a crime drama set in the late 2000s against the background of rural Andhra Pradesh. Kaala Bhairava is the music director for the film, and Ananth Sriram has penned the lyrics. The cinematography and editing are by Sunny Kurapati and Tammiraju, respectively. Koratala Siva is presenting the film, while Krishna Kommalapati served as the producer.

Besides Krishnamma, many other filmmakers have recently decided to postpone their film’s release. A few days ago, the makers of Ashish Reddy-Vaishnavi Chaitanya starrer Love Me pushed their film’s release to May 25. Similarly, Nara Rohith’s comeback vehicle Pratinidhi 2 too has been postponed from its original release date of April 25, although the makers have not announced a new date yet.

Satyadev last appeared in the 2022 film Gurthunda Seethakalam, where he shared screen with Tamannaah Bhatia.
