Anupama Parameswaran’s next titled Paradha

The filmmaker duo, Raj and DK unveiled the concept video for Anupama Parameswaran’s next film on Friday while officiating the film’s title. The Anupama Parameswaran starrer is now titled Paradha.

Raj and DK shared the first look on their X page, penning the caption, “Thrilled and happy to unveil this ‘PARADHA’. A journey that inspires every woman who was ever veiled and restricted, by those who love, in the name of love. Kudos to the whole team for taking this up.” The concept features a group of women standing together, with their faces veiled up, before the veil over Anupama's face is slowly lifted, revealing her stoic face.

Besides Anupama, Paradha stars Sangitha and Darshana Rajendran. The film is co-written and directed by Praveen Kandrgula, who had earlier directed the much-acclaimed film Cinema Bandi. Additionally, Poojitha Sreekanti and Prahaas Boppudi are credited as writers, while Krishna Prathuyusha is credited as the script doctor. 

Vijay Donkada, Sreenivasulu PV, and Sridhar Makkuva are bankrolling the film under the Ananda Media banner. Gopi Sundar has been signed as the music director. Mridul Sujit Sen is the cinematographer, and Dharmendra Kakarala is the editor.
