Vishwak Sen's Gangs of Godavari teaser to be out on this date

Vishwak Sen starrer Gangs of Godavari, which has been a long time in the making, is finally scheduled for a theatrical release on May 17. On Wednesday, the makers of the film announced that their film's teaser will be unveiled on Saturday, April 27.

The project is jointly bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Taking to their official X page, Sithara Entertainments posted, “The Rage of our Lankala Rathna. Mass Ka Das Vishwak Sen's Gangs Of Godavari Teaser Launch Event on 27th April at 04:01 PM!” Vishwak Sen was last seen in the survival drama Gaami, which released on March 8.

Gangs of Godavari is written and directed by lyricist-turned-filmmaker Krishna Chaitanya. Krishna has previously directed films like Rowdy Fellow (2014) and Chal Mohan Ranga (2018).

The film stars Neha Shetty as the female lead, besides featuring actors like Anjali, Nasser and Goparaju Ramana in supporting roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music composer of the film, while Navin Nooli is the editor. 

Gangs of Godavari will clash at the box office against Kajal Aggarwal starrer Satyabhama.
