Music Shop Murthy teaser: Ajay Ghosh plays an aspiring DJ in the upcoming feel-good drama

The makers of upcoming Chandini Chowdary-Ajay Ghosh starrer Music Shop Murthy released their official teaser on Sunday. Siva Paladugu is the writer and director for the film, while Harsha Garapati and Ranga Rao Garapati are producing the film under the banner of Fly High Cinemas.

Ajay Ghosh plays the titular protagonist of the film. The teaser establishes Ghosh’s character as that of a middle-aged music shop owner hailing from a small town who continues to harbour the aspirations of becoming a famous DJ and musician, while Chandini plays an established DJ. Against all obstacles, Murthy lands in Hyderabad and faces many adversities as he attempts to make a breakthrough and be noticed for his talent. Music Shop Murthy promises to be a feel-good drama with an underlying message about following your dreams against all odds. 

The film also features Amit Sharma, Amani, Bhanu Chandar, and Dayanandh Reddy in the supporting cast. Pawan is the music director for the film. Sreenivas Bejugam is helming the cinematography, and editing is by Bonthala Nageswara Reddy. 

Chandini was last seen in the survival drama Gaami, while Ajay Ghosh’s recent major appearance was in the crime comedy Bharathanatyam.
