Kajal Aggarwal starrer Satyabhama to release on this date

Kajal Aggarwal starrer action drama Satyabhama has been a long time in the making. The makers of the film finally set a release date for their film on Monday. Satyabhama is now slated for a theatrical release on May 17.

Kajal Aggarwal plays a cop in Satyabhama. The makers released an announcement video which features Kajal looking intense and determined as she methodically sets up her pistol one step at a time and readies to aim and shoot. Kajal Aggarwal’s last on-screen appearance was in the Balakrishna-Sree Leela starrer Bhagavanth Kesari. 

Satyabhama is directed by Suman Chikkala, who is also credited as the writer for the film. Sashi Kiran Tikka has written the screenplay, while the story is by Ramesh Yadma and Prashanth Reddy Motadoo. Vishnu Besi is the cinematographer for the action-drama, and Kodati Pavan Kalyan is the editor. Sricharan Pakala has composed music for the film. 

The makers of Satyabhama had released their first teaser in November 2023. The film is produced by Bobby Tikka and Srinivas Rao Takkalapelly under the banner of Auram Arts.

Upon its release, Satyabhama will clash at the box office against Vishwak Sen starrer Gangs of Godavari.
