New Amitabh Bachchan poster from Kalki 2898 AD teases big update on Sunday

The makers of the Prabhas starrer time-travel action drama Kalki 2898 AD just released a new poster of their film, which teases a major update at 7:15 pm this Sunday. 

Kalki 2898 AD is produced by Chalasani Aswini Dutt, Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt under the banner Vyjayanthi Movies, and directed by Nag Ashwin. The new poster features Amitabh Bachchan in his character look, with his body thoroughly bandaged and almost entirely shrouded, as he looks up at a trim ray of light. The post caption read, “The time has come to know who it is.”

Kalki 2898 AD boasts of a massive ensemble cast. Besides Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, the film stars Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani in prominent roles. It also has Kamal Haasan in a guest role. Vyjayanthi Movies had also produced Nag’s 2018 film Mahanati.

Kalki 2898 AD has been a long time in the making. According to the latest reports, the film is scheduled to release on May 9. However, the makers are yet to deliver an official confirmation about their updated release plans for the film.
