Manamey teaser: Sharwanand plays a carefree man struggling to embrace fatherhood

The makers of Manamey unveiled their teaser on Friday. The upcoming comedy-drama stars Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles. The Manamey teaser establishes its two protagonists as dramatically opposite human beings. While Sharwanand plays a carefree young man, Krithi Shetty plays a character who believes in the importance of duties and responsibilities in building one’s character. We are then introduced to a young child, who is seemingly the binding thread between the two, keeping them together.

Sriram Adittya, who has earlier made films like Bhale Manchi Roju (2015) and Devadas (2018), is the director for Manamey. Hesham Abdul Wahab has composed the film’s music. The makers released their first single, ‘Ika Na Maate', on March 28. Prawin Pudi is the editor, while cinematography is co-helmed by Gnana Shekar VS and Vishnu Sarma.

The film is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the banner of People Media Factory. The makers are reportedly planning to release Manamey on May 9, although no official confirmation has arrived yet.
