Allari Naresh’s Aa Okkati Adakku gets a release date

The makers of Aa Okkati Adakku announced their release date on Monday. The upcoming romantic comedy, which stars Allari Naresh and Faria Abdullah in lead roles, will now release on May 3.

The maker released a tongue-in-cheek video with Naresh for the announcement, where Naresh addresses the subject of film’s release postponement, eventually declaring May 3 as the release date. It is to be noted that Aa Okkati Adakku was earlier slated to be released on March 22. 

The official trailer for Aa Okkati Adakku was released a few weeks ago. The film revolves around Gana (Allari Naresh), who learns, courtesy of a priest's prophecy, that he is destined to remain a lifelong bachelor if he doesn’t get married within 25 days. Soon, Gana falls in love with a vivacious woman (Faria Abdullah), who too seems to like her back. But refuses to entertain the subject of marriage, which brings Gana back to square one. 

The film also stars Vennela Kishore, Harsha Chemudu, and Ariyana Glory, among others. Additionally, comedian Jamie Lever will be making her Telugu debut with the film.

Aa Okkati Adakku is directed by debutant Malli Ankam and produced by Rajiv Chilaka under the banner Chilaka Productions. Seasoned writer Abburi Ravi has penned the script. Gopi Sundar is the music composer. The cinematography is by Suryaa, while the editing is by Chota K Prasad.
