Dulquer Salmaan starrer Lucky Baskhar teaser to be out tomorrow

Dulquer Salmaan, who was last seen in the Malayalam action-drama King of Kotha, is gearing up for his next release Lucky Baskhar. The film is being jointly produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Sithara Entertainments announced on Wednesday that their film’s teaser will be released on April 11.

Taking to their X page, the production banner posted, “Are you ready to dive into the extra-ordinary world of Lucky Baskhar? Teaser from Tomorrow." At the same time, they shared a new poster of the film that features Dulquer standing on a crowded street looking up at something.

Lucky Baskhar is set in 1980s Bombay and stars Dulquer as an ordinary bank cashier with an extraordinary plan. It is going to be Dulquer’s third Telugu film, after Mahanati (2018) and Sita Ramam (2022). The film also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary in a prominent role.

Lucky Baskhar is written and directed by Venky Atluri, who last helmed the Dhanush-starrer Vaathi. GV Prakash is composing the film's music. Nimish Ravi is the cinematographer of the film, with editing by Navin Nooli and production design by Vinesh Banglan.

The makers of Lucky Baskhar are also planning to release the film in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
