Rashmika Mandanna’s character poster from Pushpa 2: The Rule out

Mythri Movie Makers unveiled Rashmika Mandanna's Pushpa 2: The Rule character poster on Friday, the occasion of the actor's birthday. Rashmika is reprising her role of Srivalli from Pushpa: The Rise (2021) in its sequel. The film, featuring Allu Arjun and Fahaadh Faasil in pivotal roles, is slated to release on August 15.

Launching Rashmika’s poster on their X page, the film’s producers, Mythri Movie Makers, shared, “Wishing the nation’s heartthrob 'Srivalli' aka Rashmika a very Happy Birthday.” The character poster features Rashmika wearing a parrot green saree and heavy jewellery, making a peculiar hand gesture as she intensely looks at something.

Pushpa 2: The Rule is written and directed by Sukumar, who is also co-producing the film with Mythri Movie Makers under his banner Sukumar Writings. Devi Sri Prasad, meanwhile, is the music director.

Earlier this week, the Pushpa 2 makers announced that their film’s teaser would be released on Monday, April 8.
