Ahead of their film’s release, the makers of Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi released their official trailer at a grand ceremony on Wednesday. The horror-comedy is slated to release on April 11.

Unlike the teaser previously released, the film’s trailer focuses more on the ghost characters that play a prominent part in the narrative. By the looks of it, Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi revolves around the antics of a film crew that arrives at an abandoned mansion to shoot their horror film. To play the ghost figures in their film, the crew ends up hiring a few people who might actually be ghosts themselves. Meanwhile, the crew casually continues with their shoot, assuming the ghosts to be merely 'method artists.' The film promises to be a wacky comedy, brimming with absurd situations and laugh-out-loud moments.

Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi, which marks the 50th film of Anjali’s career, is the official sequel to the 2014 film Geethanjali. It also marks the directorial debut of choreographer Shiva Turlapati. The film’s ensemble cast includes names like Srinivas Reddy, Satyam Rajesh, Satya, Shakalaka Shankar, Ali, Brahmaji, Ravi Shankar, and Rahul Madhav. Sujata Siddharth is the cinematographer for the project, and Chota K Prasad is the editor.

Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi is all set to hit the theatres next Friday, where it clashes with the slice-of-life drama Sriranga Neethulu.
