The makers of Saindhav announced on Saturday that they have finished wrapping the principal production of their film. Post-production works for the film are currently going on. This announcement comes right on the heels of the makers declaring that they will now be releasing the film on Sankranti 2024.
The film was earlier supposed to be released in the Christmas window i.e. Dec 22. Due to the makers of Salaar postponing the release of their film from September 28 to December 22, the makers of Saindhav have decided to release their film on Jan 13.
Saindhav boasts of a star-studded cast that features Venkatesh Daggubati, Andrea Jeremiah, Shraddha Srinath, Ruhani Sharma, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Arya and Jayaprakash. The film is written and directed by Dr Sailesh Kolanu, who has previously helmed HIT 1 & 2.
Saindhav, an action drama, is set in a fictional coastal town in South India titled Chandraprastha. It may be noted that Saindhav is not a part of the HIT narrative universe. Saindhav is produced by Venkat Boyanapalli under the banner Niharika Entertainments. Santhosh Narayanan is the music director of the film, with cinematography by S Manikandan, editing by Garry BH and production design by Avinash Kolla.
