Ram Charan, Jr NTR nominated for Critics Choice Super Awards

Ram Charan, Jr NTR nominated for Critics Choice Super Awards

RRR actors Jr NTR and Ram Charan earn a nomination each in the Critics Choice Super Awards under the Best Actor In An Action Movie category. Other nominees in this category include Nicholas Cage for The Unbreakable Weight Of Massive Talent, Tom Cruise for Top Gun : Maverick and Brad Pitt for Bullet Train. The awards will be announced on March 16. 

This is notably the first time Ram and Tarak, who have played the roles of real-life revolutionaries Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem in RRR got nominated for Awards in the West. 

Earlier, the film got two Awards for its director SS Rajamouli, at the New York Critics Circle and the Critics Choice Awards, and for the music director MM Keeravani, for his song Naatu Naatu, at the Golden Globes and the Critics Choice Awards. 

Naatu Naatu is also running for the 95th Oscars for the Best Original Song Award. The Critics Choice Super Awards was established in 2020 to honour the finest films and technicians in genre-centric cinema, television and home media films.
