Prince Cecil to act in Boyapati Sreenu’s next
The DJ Tillu actor will play a villain in the yet-to-be-titled film that stars Ram in the lead
Prince Cecil, who was seen in Pellikuthuru Party and DJ Tillu last year, is all set to act in director Boyapati Sreenu’s upcoming film in a prominent negative role. This yet-to-be-titled project is headlined by Ram Pothineni.
The masala action entertainer will be Prince Cecil’s and Ram Pothineni’s first project with Boyapati Sreenu, whose last film Akhanda (2021), starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Pragya Jaiswal was a massive success at the box office.
Prince Cecil has acted alongside Ram in Kishore Tirumala’s Nenu Sailaja (2016). According to sources close to the film, Prince Cecil’s role in the film is going to be quite unique and it will prove to be a game-changer for the 29-year-old actor’s career.
Tentatively titled RAPO20, the film is produced by the Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner, which is also producing Custody, Venkat Prabhu’s upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual, starring Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty. RAPO20 stars Dhamaka actress Sree Leela as its female lead, with Thaman composing the music for the film. The film was officially launched in June last year.
