Vijay-Lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo sounds battle cry with the latest Telugu poster

With just over a month left for the release of Leo, the much-anticipated Vijay-Lokesh Kanagaraj film, the makers have kickstarted the promotional drive.

Backed by Lalit Kumar's 7Screen Studio, Leo marks the sophomore collaboration of the actor and filmmaker and will hit the screens on October 19. "Keep calm and avoid the battle. Watch out... Leo Poster Feast will unveil stories, one poster at a time," wrote the official handle of the makers, who also shared a poster featuring a greying Vijay in the snowy locales of Kashmir. Considering how the first teaser of the film featured Vijay as a chocolatier by day, and a sword-wielding ruthless person by night, the caption of "Keep Calm and avoid the battle" seems like the calm before the storm of Leo

Interestingly, the makers launched this poster as the Leo Telugu poster to announce their pan-Indian aspirations. The film is expected to be released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. With the makers promising a poster feast with captions that will help unravel the story of Leo, we might see various language posters making their way over the next few days. The Telugu version of the film is presented by Sithara Entertainments, which has previously backed Jersey, Vaathi/Sir, and Bheemla Nayak

While reports about Leo being part of the famed Lokesh Cinematic Universe doing the rounds, the hype is high for the film, which stars Arjun, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Priya Anand, and Mansoor Ali Khan.

Leo marks the third successive collaboration between Lokesh and Anirudh after Master and Vikram. With cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa, and editing by Philomin Raj, Leo marks the return of the much-loved pairing of Vijay and Trisha after Kuruvi (2008).

Meanwhile, Vijay is now working on his next, tentatively titled Thalapathy 68, which will be helmed by Venkat Prabhu. On the other hand, Lokesh is set to work with Rajinikanth for the first time in Thalaivar 171, which will be backed by Sun Pictures.
