Makers of Game Changer file legal suit after film’s content leak

The makers of the upcoming Telugu film Game Changer, headlined by Ram Charan, have filed a criminal case against the culprits who leaked the yet-to-be-released film's content online. The production house Shri Venkateshwara Creations shared a copy of the FIR filed at Hyderabad Cyber Crime police station on Saturday through their social media handle.

The complaint alleges that an unauthorized version of the song, beginning with the lyrics Jaragandi Jaragandi,was leaked and quickly disseminated on social media platforms. By sharing a copy of the complaint on X ( formerly Twitter), the makers also urged the netizens to refrain from sharing inferior-quality content. 

Billed to be a political thriller, Game Changer is helmed by acclaimed director Shankar. The film also stars Kiara Advani, who previously collaborated with Ram Charan in the 2019 film Vinaya Vidheya Rama. Game Changer also stars Anjali, Jayaram, SJ Suryah, and Sunil, among others.

With music by S Thaman and cinematography by Tirru and Rathnavelu, Game Changer, backed by Dil Raju, also marks the fiftieth production venture of Shri Venkateshwara Creations.

The release date of the film is yet to be announced. The film is expected to be released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. The film has a story written by Karthik Subbaraj and Avinash Kolla as the production designer.
