SJ Suryah joins the cast of Nani 31

Earlier, on Saturday, we reported that Nani has joined hands with Ante Sundaranikki director Vivek Athreya, for his next. On Saturday evening, the makers announced that the female lead of the film, tentatively titled Nani 31, is Priyanka Mohan. 

The latest addition to the cast is actor and director SJ Suryah, the makers announced on Sunday. More details about the film's cast & crew are set to be unveiled on October 23 and October 24. The film's muhurtham pooja will take place on the latter day. 

Nani 31 is reportedly going to be an action film, though the makers have not revealed the genre explicitly yet. The film marks SJ Suryah's third Telugu starrer, after the 2017 Mahesh Babu film Spyder, and the upcoming Shankar directorial Game Changer, in which he will be seen alongside Ram Charan. 

It may be noted that Priyanka Mohan will be acting opposite Nani for the second time. She has previously worked opposite the star in the 2019 film Nani's Gang Leader, which was also her Telugu debut. Nani 31 is produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari under the banner DVV Entertainments. 

Meanwhile, SJ Suryah was last seen in Mark Antony, and is currently awaiting the release of Jigarthanda Double X, which is set to hit theatres for Diwali. He also has Dhanush's D50 in the pipeline, apart from Game Changer.
